Thanksgiving is coming- ARE YOU?

Truthfully, I am already worried about what will happen the week AFTER Thanksgiving. Since our meeting date is Thursday, we will miss our Thanksgiving week meeting, though you are all encouraged to attend another meeting elsewhere that week.
Whenever members miss a week, whether it is a planned vacation or a legal holiday, some end up dropping out the next week; especially in November and December.
In the first week of September, some of you made a written contract with yourselves of what you planned to accomplish. Some had goal dates for the end of November, others chose to commit through the end of December.
Have you taken a look at your contract lately? Are you meeting your short-term goals? Do you see any room for adjustments?
Think NOW...before life gets too hectic towards Thanksgiving time. Will you still be coming back to WW? Will you still be on track to get to goal? Are you in it for the long haul?
You can lose weight during the holidays....its a choice.
Remember: there will always be cake!
or
He who fails to plan, plans to fail.

Part of the fun of blogging is reading readers' postings, so I was disappointed to see that you've received only 2 so far and would like to herewith add my own:

There once was a lady named Laurie...Who told us her Weight Watcher story...She lost lots of weight...'Cuz fat she does hate...So will always stay Young with much glory.

Multiple mazal tovs on your WW success, continue being a great role model both weight- and other-wise, I miss the cutesy graphics on your WW emails, and someday we'll share a caramel apple (yeah, right!) - Aloha nui and all that kablooey, T-2

Thanks, Doubletee! I'd also like to see some comments by readers. I think it may take a bit of time for us all to get into this blog thing. It certainly is new for me- and possibly taking as much time as the old newsletter did! (I hope that changes!)
I feel a need to keep in touch with my members between meetings. Members can email me and as you suggested: leave your comments on the blog! We can all benefit by the exchange of ideas. Kind of like a WW meeting....
