305 Pound WINNER!

At the Innovations meeting yesterday, we were treated to a speech by a 305 pound loser. We got to see Cheryl's "before" picture on the video screen, and were stunned by the difference in her looks.
Cheryl thought surgery was the only way she'd be able to lose weight, but her doctor suggested Weight Watchers. She did it- then she experienced a car accident where she was injured. If that wasn't enough bad news, her husband then lost his job. Not surprisingly, she did start gaining weight but managed to stop the spiral.
Cheryl said that she became very familiar with the loses that looked like .2 and .4 at that time! (Can you relate?) She also commented that her world was "very small" when she was very heavy. As she lost weight, her world enlarged and now she is enjoying life to the fullest.
Innovations is the annual get-together when the WW staff people gather from all over our area. We celebrate different leaders, receptionists and centers for different reasons, and we learn what is new for the coming year- how our program is going to be tweaked and improved.
I'm so jazzed by the inspiration of Innovations. I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm about WW and how it can change your life.
PS: Mercer Island won the award for the most Monthly Pass members in a "traveler" location. We seem to have almost all of our members join with a Monthly Pass and enjoy all the benefits that go with that. For more info on the Monthly Pass, see www.weightwatchers.com or see me at the meeting. If Cheryl could lose 305 pounds- perhaps you can get to goal this time, too!?
