I can't believe how many people come sheepishly up to the weigh-in desk and say, "I've had a terrible week- I'm not sure I even want to get on the scale. How do those no weigh-in things work?"
Those "no weigh-in things" are No Weigh-In Passes. You can come to a meeting and not weigh in. Just see the receptionist, pay your fee (or flash your pass) and get a NWIP.
Yet, most of the time, I talk you into getting on the scale. Why? Because usually- the damage isn't as bad as you think!
In my opinion, it is just better to face the number and move on. In most cases you are surprised that you actually gained very little, possibly lost a little or that the gain is not as bad as you thought it would be. (This is because it is likely that you were "bad" a day or two but you still did a lot of "good" things.)
Face the number. Coming to the meeting allows you to say,
"I'm stopping the eating cycle.
I'm here for inspiration and to be accountable.
Even though I had a bad week, I still showed up.
I can do it- that's why I'm here. I'll "face the number" and move on."
After all- where else do you have to go?
You have two choices- up or down. Not a hard decision to make.
