Not PERFECTION- just DIRECTION!

Apple None of us are perfect and when it comes to losing weight, we see it all the time.
You don't have to attain perfection on any diet. You just have to be heading in the right direction. It's DIRECTION that matters.

People who experience the Weight Watchers method for lifestyle and diet changes benefit from the s-l-o-w process of weight loss. Sure, we'd all like it to be quick. But when we think sensibly about it, we understand that we didn't gain weight overnight and we're not going to lose overnight either.

Weight Watchers teaches us to head in the right direction. Make changes here. Try new recipes there. Stumble once in a while. Stumble a lot. Keep getting up. Buy a cookbook. Weigh my food. Track my food. Go to weigh-ins. Stumble again. Get frustrated. Start exercising. Stop exercising. Pick it up again. Make a habit, break a habit. The learning never stops. Success is fluid, but it is heading in the right DIRECTION that creates success.

Be easy on yourself. But be consistent. Keep trying to:
  • buy the right foods
  • get the tempting foods out of the house
  • make smart choices
  • track your food

When you do the right things, success will come. Yes, it is slow but you have good company for the journey. Our whole WW group is heading in the RIGHT direction, no matter how slow it may be!
