We had a lovely fashion model weigh in last Thursday. It was our very own Elaine, who has lost over 50 pounds! She modeled her gorgeous cream colored wool suit that she bought 13 years ago for her wedding. Last Thursday was the FIRST day she could wear it!
After the stress of making all the wedding arrangements, sewing all the matching clothing for participants in the wedding, she had gained too much weight to wear her own special outfit. She gave us all the pleasure of her success when she donned her flattering suit and wore it to her weigh in. Weigh-to-Go, Elaine! You are a tremendous role model for all of us.
What did Elaine have going for her that makes her so successful? She WANTED to do it. She made up her mind that was going to carefully follow the plan because she knew that it worked. Elaine is a lifetime member and had conquered her weight problem years ago. She knew where to turn when she was ready to tackle it once again.
A dear friend of mine tells me that people choose what they really want. You can choose to eat the temptation or you can choose to walk away and choose to stay on your program. You make this choice many times a day.
Elaine chose to stay on the path that worked for her- writing down her foods and taking two walks a day. She did hit MickeyD's every Sunday for her family's special breakfast, but she fit it into her overall plan.

All of us can find a way to fit Weight Watchers into our lives. Stop with the excuses already. Do what you really want to do!!!
If you really want it, you can do it.
If you really want it, you can do it.
It isn't will power.
It is want power.
How badly are you willing to make it happen?
"It's not that some people have willpower and some don't.
It's that some people are ready to change and others are not."
